Angie had pre-bridal shots taken in our honeymoon suite in Caesar's Palace, you can't tell from the picture but she was kind of freaking out, not about the whole marriage thing, mostly about making sure everything went as planned! (maybe she should have had some more champagne while she was getting ready!)
Brad wasn't allowed to see Angie before the ceremony so his pictures were taken outside, by the pool, and measures were set into place so the Bride and Groom don't accidentally run into each other. (which ended up happening anyway, but our AMAZING photographer shooed Brad away just in time, so Angie could quickly walk by.)
Fighting back tears..or was that sweat?
Our Ceremony took place at the Caesar's Palace, Intimate Garden it was short, sweet and to the point. We were one of the last couple to be married at that Garden.
Brad messed up on his vows a couple of times, but it ended up just adding our own little "flair" to our special day! Angie made sure we had a special reading of the "Velveteen Rabbit" in our ceremony and it fit right in!
Our family looked very nice on our wedding day, we were so glad they could be apart of it and that we got such special pictures of the special people in our lives, especially since it was the last time we saw 2 of them before they passed away (Angie's Grandfather Tony who we miss dearly, and our Photographer Karen, we were so lucky to have her their to capture our memories!)
We were so happy it was finally official (and that we were about to enter an air conditioned zone!)
Our Reception was help at Cafe' Lago in Caesar's Palace, it was a very relaxing setting with very beautiful ambiance, we had a nice Las Vegas buffet and a yucky cake! At some point Angie had to hit the bathroom, as she wandered off to find it the piano player decided to dedicate a song to her and she danced by herself in front of everyone!
Brad and Angie went on a "Las Vegas, Photo Tour" after the reception, we got our very own stretch Escalade Limo to drive us and our family around Vegas to all the best hotels with our photographer and take photos, it was the best! This is one of our favorite photo's taken at the Bellagio, she just walked us around, we were talking and holding hands and she snapped the BEST pictures!
One of our favorite memories of the Photo Tour was getting well wishes from random people walking around on the strip, Angie even got invited to a party by a strange guy while she was in her wedding dress! (if you look closely you can see a tourist taking pictures of us getting our picture taken!!)
Angie's favorite memory was when the above picture was taken, her train was actually on the strip, she was in front of the Monte' Carlo Hotel, the photographer Karen cleared the crowded sidewalk on a Saturday night and stood in the street to get this shot, one lady yelled "HEY! Aren't you worried your dress will get dirty!?" and Karen shouted back "Honey, none of my brides worry!" she made Angie feel so special that day!
Just riding in the limo with our family was fun and Karen let us take some priceless pictures with her camera! (A couple cigars and champagne bottles were put to good use here!)
If you've ever been to the "Vegas Sign" then you know if you want to stand in front of it you will have to dodge a couple lanes of high speed traffic, fortunately for us (and Angie who was wearing a 50 pound dress) we didn't have to do that our Limo driver hopped the median for us and parked it just so we can get some cool shots of us in front of the sign and then he handed out roses to all the girls!
...And her shoes were off by the end of the night... we had an amazing/crazy/beautiful time! We honeymooned in Vegas, visited the Hoover Dam, went to the Four Corners, and spend most of the time wishing we could re-live our wedding day!! Sure, not everything went as planned and there were defiantly some stressful times but looking back we are glad that it happened the way it did, and we wouldn't change anything for the world!
